Children's HealthWe understand that having an unwell child can be stressful and as such we endeavour to offer on the day appointments for your child when they are unwell.
The Australian Government Department of Health encourages parents to arrange a Healthy Kids Check for their 4 year old children. This check is an assessment of a child's physical health, general well being and development and is often combined with the 4 year old immunisations. We have several nursing staff who have completed additional qualifications in immunisation and can administer the routine vaccination schedule for your children in addition to assisting with any queries or additional vaccination requirements. Women's HealthPap smears are recommended for all women between the ages of 18 and 70 who have ever been sexually active. We encourage patients to participate in our optional recall system as a reminder for when the pap test is next due.
The Mirena (an IUD) can be inserted by Dr Rachelle Bassett after an initial consultation to assess suitability. All of our doctors are able to insert or remove the Implanon (contraceptive implant) device. Cosmetic InjectionsCosmetic Injections are used to relax facial muscles that cause dynamic lines when you frown or smile, they can occur in the forehead, around the eyes. They appear because various muscles contract to form different facial expressions. Over time these expression lines begin to linger a little longer even when your face is at rest. Cosmetic injections relax wrinkle-causing muscles, smoothing out current lines and reduces new lines forming.
Cosmetic Injections can be injected to treat the following areas: - forehead lines - frown lines - smile lines around the eyes (crows feet) - the top of the nose - and other areas of the lower face Dr Andrew Chow offers cosmetic injections at Cambourne Clinic. Contact the clinic during opening hours to book your initial cosmetic consultation with Dr Chow to discuss your options. Comprehensive Medical AssessmentsDiabetic Management Plans

Cardiac Rehabilitation Plans Our cardiac nurse Cate Kelly co-ordinates our cardiac rehabilitation plans. All patients with heart disease (including ischaemic heart disease, congestive cardiac failure, arrhythmias and even those just at risk of cardiac disease) are invited to participate. Having a cardiac care plan enables access to dieticians, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals under the medicare system. Mental Health Care Plans All our doctors are qualified to set up mental health care plans for patients with anxiety, depression or other mental illnesses. This allows access to psychologists at a medicare rebated rate. Please notify reception staff when booking an appointment for a mental health care plan so a longer consult can be arranged. GP Management Plans In addition to the above, many other chronic conditions that require multidisciplinary management may benefit from a GP Management Plan. Please discuss with your GP if you think this may be relevant to you.
