Cosmetic Injections are used to relax facial muscles that cause dynamic lines when you frown or smile, they can occur in the forehead, around the eyes. They appear because various muscles contract to form different facial expressions. Over time these expression lines begin to linger a little longer even when your face is at rest. Cosmetic injections relax wrinkle-causing muscles, smoothing out current lines and reduces new lines forming.
Cosmetic Injections can be injected to treat the following areas:
- forehead lines
- frown lines
- smile lines around the eyes (crows feet)
- the top of the nose
- and other areas of the lower face
Dr Andrew Chow offers cosmetic injections at Cambourne Clinic. Contact the clinic during opening hours to book your initial cosmetic consultation with Dr Chow to discuss your options.
Comprehensive Medical Assessments
Diabetic Management Plans
Our experienced diabetes educator Erin Rogers co-ordinates and manages our diabetic management plans. All diabetics (type 1 and 2) are invited to participate in diabetes management plans. Evidence shows that involvement in diabetes management plans improves long term outcomes for diabetics. In addition a diabetes care plan enables people with diabetes to access dieticians and podiatrists under the medicare system.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Plans
Our cardiac nurse Cate Kelly co-ordinates our cardiac rehabilitation plans. All patients with heart disease (including ischaemic heart disease, congestive cardiac failure, arrhythmias and even those just at risk of cardiac disease) are invited to participate. Having a cardiac care plan enables access to dieticians, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals under the medicare system.
Mental Health Care Plans
All our doctors are qualified to set up mental health care plans for patients with anxiety, depression or other mental illnesses. This allows access to psychologists at a medicare rebated rate. Please notify reception staff when booking an appointment for a mental health care plan so a longer consult can be arranged.
GP Management Plans
In addition to the above, many other chronic conditions that require multidisciplinary management may benefit from a GP Management Plan. Please discuss with your GP if you think this may be relevant to you.
All our doctors are able to provide travel advice regarding general health measures, anti malarials and vaccinations.
Please make your appointment at least 6 weeks prior to travel so we can arrange to have any vaccines you need in stock.
