Matt completed his medical degree at Newcastle University in 2012 and initially worked at Tamworth hospital before moving to Warrnambool in 2015 to complete GP training.

Matt started at Cambourne clinic in 2024 and consults regularly at local nursing homes.

He has been a registrar supervisor and medical educator for RACGP and has completed extra training in mental health and addiction medicine.
